Founded on July 5, 2016 by Akwasi Frimpong, a skeleton athlete and bobsledder, the Bobsled and Skeleton Federation-Ghana (BSF-Ghana) is an association that aims to promote the sports of skeleton and bobsleigh in Ghana. The federation is an associate member of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF), an organization that administers the sports of Skeleton and Bobsleigh globally.
Mission
The mission of BSF-Ghana is to help Ghanaian athletes achieve excellence and global recognition in the sports of Skeleton and Bobsleigh. The organization aims to achieve this mission by defending the sporting interests of its athletes and by improving the collaboration among its members, local and international authorities, and other stakeholders.
Vision
The Bobsled and Skeleton Federation-Ghana will be the best sports organization for bobsledders and skeleton athletes in Ghana and will focus its endeavors on achieving best practices in all areas of sporting and organizational activities.
